His Youth
Thomas grew up in Frankfurt, Germany during the sixties.
His father was a famous illustrator and his mother was a stay-at-home mom who provided her two children and talented husband with a warm meal for lunch every day.
The family would gather around the kitchen table and spend quality time together - sharing -bonding and complimenting mom for the tasty meals she provided her family.
Every day of his youth, Thomas enjoyed his mother's nurturing cooking style and his father's creative expression in art, so it is no wonder that Thomas uses these two combinations in his work today.

His Adult Years
Having watched and helped his mother prepare meals in the kitchen for many years and finding comfort in the kitchen, it didn't take long to figure out what Thomas wanted to do with his life. Encouraged by his father to follow his heart, Thomas began his studies and apprenticeship into the culinary arts.
Opposed to working in a restaurant, where chefs "smash out" dinners every night, Thomas has opted to re-create the type of environment he grew up in by becoming an outstanding private chef.
